The thirteenth Floralies Internationales will be held from 17 to 26 May 2024 at the famous Logis de la Chaboterie in Montréverd. Artistic floral and plant displays around the theme of “flower games” in reference to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. An event not to be missed!

Jazz sur Vie: the 40th edition of the festival will take place from 17 to 19 May 2024 at the canning factory in Saint Gilles Croix de Vie. On the programme: jazz, jazz and jazz 🙂
Free concert in the jazz village (quai du Port Fidèle) with tastings, shop, exhibition and stroll through the streets of St Gilles Croix de Vie.
Paris 2024: the Olympic flame is passing through the Vendée with Les Sables d’Olonne as its stopover town on Tuesday 4 June 2024. The flame will have the honour of passing through 3 other towns in the Vendée: La Roche Sur Yon, Montaigu and Fontenay Le Comte, as well as 3 emblematic sites: the passage of the Gois, Le Puy Du Fou and the Pointe d’Arçay.
New-York – Vendée Les Sables d’Olonne race: Before the start of the Vendée Globe, the skippers will be competing in one last race, a qualifier for the Vendée Globe. Departure from New York on 29 May 2024. In 2016, Jérémie Beyou won the race in 9 days, 16 hours, 57 minutes and 49 seconds. Will they do better this year? Rendezvous in the port of Les Sables d’Olonne to applaud them on their arrival.
The Ironman in Les Sables d’Olonne on 30 June 2024. Come and cheer on the athletes who have come from all over Europe to take up this sporting challenge.
“Les mains dans le sable” contemporary circus festival from 29 to 31 July 2024. The festival will take place opposite the Port de Plaisance, and will feature a wide range of artistic performances (acrobatics, concerts, painting exhibitions, etc.). Visitors will be able to try their hand at a variety of activities (yoga, circus, etc.), and a craft market will be held during the day on Saturday and Sunday before the concert in the evening.
The Village des Saveurs et des traditions du pays de Saint Gilles Croix de Vie (date not yet known) is THE place to be for food lovers. With over 40 producers, there’s something for everyone.

The tenth edition of the Vendée Globe. On Sunday 10 November 2024, 40 skippers will set off on this non-stop, non-assisted, single-handed round-the-world race. Who will succeed Yannick Bestaven?
